Jonny is recognized as a skilled and compassionate clinician working with OCD. He emphasises an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy focused approach to Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. He integrates Compassion Focused Therapy into this process to help clients develop a more supportive approach to themselves and their recovery. This means he approaches ERP emphasizing the development of psychological skills, connection to core values & meaningful goals all embedded in a compassionate approach. He has appeared a number of times on ‘the OCD Stories’ podcast and is the resident therapist on the OCD Stories Camp.
Jonny has extensive experience of working with clients who have struggled with OCD recovery. This includes clients that have had a number of rounds of CBT/ERP and are still struggling with OCD, clients with complex comorbidities including trauma histories (PTSD/CPTSD), clients with inpatient treatment histories, eating disorders and addictions. He has experience of offering OCD groups that have focused on integrating ACT into ERP for clients that have struggled with a purely CBT approach.
He has lived experience of OCD and recovery which he draws from in his work. He is passionate about synthesizing the most effective approaches to treatment which drives him to learn from top supervisors, theorists & trainers, but primarily learning from his clients experience of OCD recovery and barriers to recovery.
He has NHS experience in a number of London trusts. He has worked for the Compassion Focused Therapy company Balanced Minds for a number of years enabling him to learn from top CFT and CBT therapists. He has experience of working with a wide range of other difficulties through this experience, from Personality Disorders, Psychosis, Eating Disorders, Chronic Health Conditions and more.

Stuart is a counsellor and psychotherapist for children and young people (4-25 years). Stuart founded The OCD Stories podcast in 2015, which has since been downloaded over 5m times globally. In 2018 he was given the hero award for his OCD advocacy by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). He works integratively, drawing on attachment theory, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, sandplay therapy, and child-centred play-therapy. Whether working short-term or long-term, he focuses on developing a safe, compassionate and secure relationship with his clients. Stuart is also trained in SPACE: Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions which is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems.

Paul Huntingford MBACP is an integrative therapist who helps people navigate their way through life’s difficulties. Paul studied Psychology at Edinburgh University and continued to train in Integrative Therapy at the Minster Centre in London. He has since completed further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) with leading experts such as Russ Harris and Dr Chris Irons. He has worked in a number of different healthcare settings, providing both one to one care and group facilitation.
Paul has undergone extensive training and supervision in therapy for OCD from the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy. He has been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy and has learned the centre's approach to integrating ACT and CFT into ERP.
He has experienced his own historic struggles with compulsive behaviours around substances and anxiety. This means he has a high level of compassion and understanding for his clients and what mental health recovery entails.
Paul is passionate about providing practical and effective therapy to help people lead more fulfilling lives. He has a special interest in childhood trauma in relation to addictive and compulsive behaviour patterns. He also has specialist experience in the overlap between OCD and addictions.
Paul works online and lives in Madrid with his family. He continues to be a health & fitness enthusiast.

Emma is a child and adolescent psychotherapist based in Southeast London, with many years experience. Emma has worked in schools, charities and private practice. She works with a broad range of emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties with family and peers. Emma also works with more complex mental health difficulties including self-harm, trauma and those who have experienced abuse. In addition, she is experienced working with children and young people with neurodiversity for example ASD and ADHD as well as those struggling with identity.
Emma has undergone extensive training and supervision in therapy for OCD from the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy. She has been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy and has learned the centre's approach to integrating ACT into ERP.
Emma tailors her approach to provide the most effective support for the individual using a variety of techniques including art, play and talking therapy which is developmental and age appropriate. As an integrative psychotherapist, she draws on aspects of theory and practise from many therapeutic traditions which include person centred, attachment based, psychodynamic and CBT approaches.
Emma is skilled in understanding what children and young people are trying to communicate through listening to what they say, observing their behaviour and their play. She supports them to understand thoughts and feelings which can be overwhelming or too complicated for them to make sense of. Her approach is warm, caring, empathetic and accepting of all.
Dr Tehani Benjamin

Tehani is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with experience in the NHS and charity sector.
She offers therapy to adults who experience a range of emotional challenges including OCD, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. She also has experience working with complex mental health and co-morbid difficulties, including trauma and childhood abuse.
Tehani works collaboratively with clients to help them understand how the past informs the present, develop coping skills to process difficult feelings, and build on their inner strengths and resources to work through challenges in the here and now.
Tehani also has specialist training in OCD and extensive experience of working with clients who experience a wide range of intrusive and obsessive thoughts. As a therapist who struggled with OCD herself, she knows how all-consuming it can feel and is passionate about helping clients understand their OCD and develop skills to cope with anxiety.
She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and incorporates Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). Often, this therapeutical approach helps clients connect with their values and goals (who and what matters in their lives), which in turn creates a sense of purpose for challenging OCD-related fears.
Tehani has extensive clinical training and worked in a specialised residential treatment centre for OCD within the NHS. In addition, she has undergone training and supervision in therapy for OCD from the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy. She has been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy and has learned the centre's approach to integrating ACT into ERP.
Tehani also has experience of working with clients who have complex co-morbid challenges, including Trauma and OCD. She’s also worked alongside survivors of sexual assault, childhood abuse, and with clients seeking asylum after experiencing torture and structural violence. Working in an integrative way, Tehani draws on a range of therapeutical approaches (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy for Trauma and Narrative Exposure Therapy). At the heart of her work, she seeks to offer a warm, accepting and compassionate space for clients from all walks of life. As an LGBTQIA+ clinician from the Pacific Island of Tahiti and France, she is passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and empowers everyone to lead more fulfilling, vibrant and authentic lives.

Amy is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over 10-years clinical experience within the NHS, and third sector organisations. Amy offers therapy to adults who experience OCD, as well as other difficulties including, anxiety, low mood and depression, and trauma (including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD). Amy has experience working with complex trauma and/or complex psychological difficulties, including difficulties related to early life, childhood, and developmental stages, and difficulties with attachment and relationships.
Amy works in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist and draws upon a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Systemic approaches. Her interests also include Internal Family Systems and Compassion-Focused Therapy. From the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy, she has undertaken training and supervision in therapy for OCD and has been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. Amy has learned the centre's approach to integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into ERP and uses this approach to help people connect with their values and move towards what matters most.
Amy recognises that reaching out for help is a big step that takes courage. As a therapist, she recognises how OCD can involve feeling ashamed and scared and aims to work with people to create a safe space, to challenge OCD. Amy has personally experienced OCD and recognises the devastating impact that OCD can have on a person’s life. She is passionate about supporting people to loosen the grip of OCD, and foster greater self-leadership, agency, and confidence.

Kathryn is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). She has over ten years’ experience of working within the NHS and third sector organisations.
Kathryn works collaboratively with individuals who experience a range of psychological difficulties, including OCD, anxiety, low mood, work-related stress, bereavement and trauma. Within her current NHS practice, she offers therapy to clients who have challenges relating to both their physical and mental health.

Alex is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. He has spent more than 10 years supporting children, young people, and adults, in a wide range of clinical settings. Alex supports individuals who are experiencing OCD, as well as other common difficulties including low mood, panic, social anxiety, and trauma-related difficulties. Alex has previously developed and managed a CBT service at 42nd Street, an award-winning charity in Manchester, improving young people’s access to evidence-based therapies for OCD and other common mental health problems. In addition to providing therapy, Alex has supported a growing number of therapists to develop and maintain their knowledge and skills through teaching, training, and clinical supervision.
Alex qualified in CBT at the GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre and received training from leading specialists in the field of OCD, including Professors David Veale and Paul Salkovskis. Alex has gone on to access further specialist training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), including with renowned psychologist and founder of CFT, Professor Paul Gilbert OBE. Alex draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Deborah Lane

Deborah is an integrative therapist, specialising in working with children, young people and their families. She is based in Surrey and primarily works in the Haslemere/Hindhead area.
Deborah offers a warm, friendly and compassionate approach, working collaboratively in engaging ways to support children and young people explore their thoughts and feelings and make sense of their experiences. As an integrative therapist, Deborah draws upon non-directive play-based therapy, humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, grounded in a core understanding of attachment. Her work focuses on helping children and teens unhook from intrusive thoughts, reduce avoidance, and engage in the things that truly matter to them.

Aisling Cooke

Aisling moved to the UK ten years ago to pursue her career in Psychology, following completion of a BA degree in Psychology and Philosophy in her hometown of Galway in Ireland. Aisling has since become a qualified high intensity CBT therapist, for Children and Young People. Aisling is also a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner and has a MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. Aisling has worked in schools, charities and the NHS in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Aisling has undergone extensive training and supervision in therapy for OCD through gaining her qualifications and additionally from the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy. She has been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy and has learned the centre's approach to integrating ACT into ERP. Both personal and professional experience has allowed for Aisling to develop an in-depth awareness and understanding of the challenges that clients, and families can experience with OCD.
Aisling has a wealth of experience in delivering treatment for OCD both online and in-person. This includes clients who are engaging with therapy for the first time, have had ongoing difficulties with OCD recovery, clients with inpatient treatment experience, eating disorders and complex co-morbidities e.g. PTSD. Aisling has a depth of knowledge on the links between OCD and comorbid mental health difficulties, such as GAD, separation anxiety, anorexia nervosa and panic disorder. Aisling has also worked with children and adolescents with neurodiversity diagnosis’ such as ASD and ADHD. Sarah Feehan

Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with a diverse background in the NHS, third sector organisations, and private practice. She is deeply committed to creating a safe and non-judgemental space where individuals can feel heard and understood, fostering a biopsychosocial awareness of their difficulties.
Sarah offers an integrative approach, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, drawing on their strengths. She utilises evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), to support clients in developing skills to manage distress and enhance psychological well-being. She has also undertaken training and supervision from the Integrative Centre for OCD Therapy and has learned the centre’s approach to integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
With considerable experience in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) across the lifespan, Sarah has trained in both adult and child national specialist OCD services. She has worked with individuals facing a wide range of obsessions and compulsions, understanding the profound impact that shame and fear can have on their lives. Sarah recognises the bravery and resilience clients demonstrate in seeking therapy and is passionate about empowering them to reclaim their lives back from OCD, encouraging resilience, and promoting growth.
Additionally, Sarah specialises in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and/or ADHD, and is proficient in making necessary therapeutic adaptations to meet their needs.
Sarah completed her Bachelor's degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, followed by her clinical training at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (King’s College London) and the Maudsley Hospital, part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She undertook additional training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy in the context of chronic pain and long-term health conditions and worked as a Paediatric Clinical Psychologist at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital before returning to work with adults.
In her current role within the NHS, Sarah supports individuals with Autism and/or ADHD, helping them manage the challenges associated with neurodevelopmental conditions. With over a decade of experience in mental health, including various research roles at King’s College London, Sarah is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to her clients.

Charu is a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist and EMDR Therapist, with more than 15 years extensive experience in NHS Talking Therapy Services, helping clients manage a variety of psychological disorders. She is trained and experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Narrative Exposure Therapy.
She has over 10 years of experience in treating OCD, including sub-types like Harm OCD, POCD, Existential OCD, Relationship OCD, Sexual orientation OCD, Health OCD, Postnatal OCD, Sensorimotor OCD and Hyperawareness OCD along with the other more well known OCD subtypes such as contamination OCD, Checking OCD or ‘just right' OCD.
Charu brings her knowledge and experience of using CBT skills like ERP and is also trained in ACT and CFT and uses these modalities interactively in her client work to support all different subtypes of OCD. She is also expanding her knowledge and currently learning about ICBT to further enhance her skills in treating OCD. She also uses a trauma informed perspective in her clinical work and offers space to understand the links one has to the past experiences with the current beliefs one may hold and allows the process of healing to take place.
Charu is also enthusiastic about the impact of cultural and diversity related beliefs impacting on mental health and would make space to explore that in the sessions if relevant.
Charu is also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi and has had experience of delivering therapy in these languages for different conditions, including OCD and PTSD.

Jamie is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist specialising in OCD, anxiety disorders, and PTSD. Jamie has over 8 years experience helping clients in NHS Talking Therapies Services at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, working with difficulties across the anxiety disorders including BDD and Health Anxiety. He has worked with lots of sub-types of OCD including, contamination OCD, Pure OCD, Harm OCD, Relationship OCD, and Religious OCD. He uses Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches alongside his CBT practice. He is also a passionate advocate of chairwork having attended workshops, and seen the significant emotional shifts this approach can have.
Jamie understands first-hand how OCD struggles can have a hugely detrimental impact on our ability to lead our lives as we would hope. Feelings of shame, guilt and hopelessness can start to shrink our lives down, and by using a person-centred, compassionate approach, he can help you start to reclaim your life back from the OCD bully.
